“My view on education in the 21st century is premised on applying  technology into the approaches to teaching and learning to ensure that 21st century education skills are acquired by the 21st century learners to bring about innovation, critical thinking, creativity and global competitiveness.”

Mr. Jude Katumba

My ideas are contained in an article by Bergmann, J., & Sams, A. (2012), The flipped classroom.

A time had to come when Uganda moves away from the black board and white chalk mode of content delivery. It has been totally wrong to teach practically demonstrable concepts using the wrong tools based on a majorly theoretical approach.

We are glad to lead the way in creating learners that relate and apply what they learn in class to their daily lives.

Mr. Robert Jjagwe

This was written in 1916…

We make the child fit the school. The school of tomorrow will make the school fit the child. Education is the acquistion of power and ability, not an accumulation of facts. School should aim at making character.

School should cease to educate the youth away from life. The way to train for life is to begin to live that life at once. School should be shaped to this end. Non-essentials and busy-work nonsense should be eliminated.

Dr. David Harycki

John M. Mills – 1916Journal of Education

We all have some knowledge. The point is that we all should engage from whatever level we understand and that we listen and learn from others no matter their level of understanding.

Dr. Michael Anderson

Student success begins with building a positive school culture based on strong relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.
